Recentish (like a decade) French Indie Pop

Thanks to seventh grade French for introducing me to this genre, it rings of middle school nostalgia. French indie-pop trends toward an upbeat vibe, even when the lyrics are depressing. It's peppy, playful and occasionally sarcastic — a reminder that life is good. It also doubles as amazing study music, like a caffeine hit without the distraction of understanding the lyrics, unless you're really paying attention to them.
